One of my favorite places in New Orleans. It's a cool dive bar that has THE BEST roast beef po-boy! The service is killer too. Bring cash. They have an ATM if you don't.

Parasol's is a wonderful casual hole in the wall spot for Po Boys that we were so fortunate to stumble upon! The large was perfect for splitting between two. The beef was delicious and there was a ton of filling in the sandwich. The bread was perfectly crispy and crunchy. It was easy to order at the counter and the food came out decently fast but was freshly made. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. I'd highly recommend - it was one of my favorite meals of the trip.

Quick service, friendly bartenders, classic dive bar atmosphere. The coffee cocktail I got was delicious but still a bit pricey for a dive bar.

A great sandwich spot! We loved the fire cracker shrimp since it was a good mix of fried shrimp sauce and veggies. We found the roast beef sandwich a bit too saucy, but that's just my opinion. The bread on both sandwiches was nice and toasted. Service was quick and there was plenty of space to sit and eat.

Great food. Just off Magazine Street. If you are staying in the Garden District it is very close. You order food on one side of the building and in the adjacent room is a full bar. After trying several fried shrimps while on vacation theirs was the best!

Firecracker shrimp poboy was just right! Perfect combination of crispy spiced shrimp on a bed of fresh lettuce, mayo, and a pillow of soft and crisp bread. The roast beef was a major miss for me though. Very soggy and flavorless. Would get the firecracker shrimp poboy again!

This place was a stand out on our trip to New Orleans. We did a bike tour of the garden district and our guide told us to check it out and we're so glad we did. Had a real neighborhood vibe, and it was such a amazing and needed break from the crowds in the French quarter. We were told the Po boy was a must, and it is! We got the beef Po boy and it was possibly our favorite thing from the weekend. And the potato salad was amazing! Nothing like a cold beer on tap. Check it out if you're in the neighborhood.

Want a neighborhood dive where the food is authentic and not overrun by tourists. Check. Want a po boy that will leave you wondering why can't other places do this? Check. Parasol's delivered big time on a recent visit. We had the fried oyster po boy. At $21, more than we'd normally spend but so worth it. Sandwich was bursting with fresh, perfectly cooked oysters. Scrumptious to the last bite. We also had the roast beef. We thought it'd be more like a French dip. Not to be. Was more of a chopped version fully dressed. And it hit the mark, with reasonably priced beer to wash it all down. What more could you want?

Actually stumbled on this place. Had Mahony's on the radar, but they were closed due to running out or bread, so we came here. Love that it's out of downtown or busy main street. It's buried within the neighborhood at a subtle intersection. The staff was great. The food was very good with a nice variety. Certainly recommend and would come back.

This establishment was the cutest little hidden gem that we found while visiting NOLA. Actually this place was features on triple D Foodnetwork. We ordered the beef po-boy and the muffaletta. The Muffaletta although is a bit dryer it for sure was flavorful and that olive salad gave the sandwich all the flavors it needed The Beef po-boy was very flavorful and juicy make sure you ask for dressed so that it comes with everything. It's middle of a resident area and has outdoor sitting so if you go with your fury friends they can join you for some drinks and food.
